Amaero is scaling fast
Amaero is building an advanced materials and manufacturing business in McDonald, TN around some of the hardest materials and applications in industry.
The company produces high-purity refractory and titanium alloy powders using EIGA atomization, alongside PM-HIP manufacturing for near-net-shape components. Its materials include C-103, titanium, niobium, molybdenum, tungsten, and other high-temperature alloys used across defense, space, aerospace, nuclear, and energy applications. And the commercial momentum is real. Amaero has secured an exclusive 5-year C-103 supply agreement with Casteon and a long-term agreement with Velo3D valued at roughly A$35 million, while continuing to build out domestic production capacity in Tennessee. Amaero on its contracts and U.S. expansion
As more equipment comes online and more programs move into production, the team has to grow with it.
That has meant hiring across very different parts of the operation, including 6G welders, senior welding talent, production supervisors, production planners, engineering, and other highly technical roles.

Learning a very different production environment
Amaero is not a typical manufacturing floor. The work involves advanced metal powders, high temperatures, specialized equipment, strict safety requirements, and areas where the environment itself can be explosive if not handled correctly.
Our team spent time with Amaero learning how the facility actually operates. We learned the production process, the safety environment, what different teams are responsible for, and what kind of experience translates well into the operation.
That context matters when the roles get specific. Amaero has needed 6G welders, production supervisors, planners, engineers, and other specialized technical talent. Each requires a different background, and a job title alone does not tell you whether someone will work in this environment.
We built what we learned into Laborup. Our agents use that context to find and qualify people against the actual work, while our team stays close to Amaero as the operation grows and new needs come online.
That is how we have been able to move 4× faster without lowering the bar on talent.
Speed that keeps up with the business
Amaero has hired specialized talent through Laborup roughly 4× faster, and 100% of Laborup hires have stayed.
Part of what makes that possible is the network and data we have built around highly specialized industrial talent. Over time, Laborup has developed a deeper understanding of roles like 6G welders, production leaders, planners, engineers, and other technical workers, including the experience, certifications, environments, and operating context that actually matter.
We turn that knowledge into a detailed taxonomy of the work and the worker. Our agents use it to identify people who fit, go deeper on what they have actually done, and qualify them against Amaero’s environment. Our team stays close to Amaero and keeps improving that understanding as the operation grows.
The result is a workforce platform that can grow with the business. As Amaero adds equipment, takes on larger programs, and builds new capabilities, Laborup already understands the kind of people those plans require and can help turn that growth into a team that can deliver it.
