We're looking for a Quality Inspector with a strong work ethic, who loves ensuring high standards, is not afraid to work with precision tools, and is an A-star team player. You will be instrumental in inspecting and testing parts/products for critical applications in the aerospace and defense industries.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in close-tolerance machining and inspection, with a solid understanding of GD&T and familiarity with quality management systems.

What you'll do:

  • Inspect and test parts/products at receiving, in-process, and final inspection points.
  • Document inspection results in accordance with the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Utilize calibrated hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, and scales for inspection purposes.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications, including GD&T.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO9001:2015 and AS9100 quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols and best practices.

What you bring:

  • Minimum High School graduate or equivalent (GED).
  • Prior experience with close tolerance machining and/or inspection in an ISO-certified manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on experience with inspection tools including calipers, micrometers, and scales.
  • Knowledge of GD&T principles.
  • Familiarity with Quality Management Systems, accredited to standards such as ISO 9001:2015, AS9100D, and Nadcap.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Basic understanding of quality assurance principles and practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills for reporting and collaboration.

Our equipment:

  • Experience with inspection equipment such as the API Radian R-50 Laser Tracker System, Mitutoyo CMMs, and Magnaflux Model H-700 Magnetic Particle Inspection Machine​.
  • ​Familiarity with our range of equipment, including CNC machines like the SNK Model RB-300F Bridge Type High-Speed 5-Axis Machining Center, Mazak AJV-25/404N Vertical Mill, and Okuma MC4VA Vertical Mill​.
